GNA knows firsthand the confusion and frustration that most parents experience
when attempting to help their child overcome behavioral and academic problems.
As a result, many parents find it very helpful to set up an initial parent
consultation with Dr. Gray, either in person or over the phone (for persons living outside Colorado). After
completing an intake form, the consultation is conducted, which requires
between 2 and 3 hours. This consists of allowing Dr. Gray to carefully comb
through the child or teen's background, and then to suggest a preliminary
cafeteria line of next-step options to help your youth. He then talks you
through the pros and cons of the various options, taking the time to go slowly
and answer your questions. The initial parent consultation is an excellent
means of creating momentum for helping your child or teen.
